Tenuta Castello is located in Desana, in the province of Vercelli, the rice capital par excellence.

It is a company with a high historical and family value, in fact since 1833 it has brought with it centuries of values, history and traditions, in addition to its headquarters: the Desana Castle.

The family management takes care of the entire product supply chain, guaranteeing the varietal purity of the rices it grows. From the preparation of the land to the harvest, from the transformation in the rice mill with stone grinders to the packaging, always guaranteeing the certainty of a product controlled in all its phases.
The rice fields of Tenuta Castello extend over an area of approximately 120 hectares, all planted with rice.

We control every stage of production: from land preparation to sowing, from harvesting to processing in the rice mill, to guarantee our customers the absolute quality of our rice.

Our rice is produced according to organic parameters, with particular attention to the experimentation of innovative green techniques including green mulching.
